Round Robin for Close CRM
RouterJet brings powerful round-robin lead routing to Close CRM. New leads are automatically assigned to the right sales rep — fairly and in turn — so every lead gets picked up fast and the workload stays even across your team. No code required: you build rules from the data already on your Close leads, including custom fields.

How to set up round robin for Close
1) Connect Close
- Navigate to RouterJet for Close
- Click Sign in with Close and follow the prompts to connect your Close account.
2) Activate Agents
Go to the Agents page and activate the Close users who should receive leads from RouterJet. Only activated agents are included in the round robin, so you can add a new rep — or pause someone who’s out sick — with a single click. Set each agent’s work hours so leads only go to reps who are on shift.

3) Make Your First Rule
Add your first rule on the Rules page and choose round-robin assignment across the agents you just activated. Keep it simple — round-robin every new lead across the whole team — or add conditions like territory, lead source, or deal size so the right group of reps gets the right leads.

4) Leads Route Automatically 👌
That’s it. As new leads arrive in Close, RouterJet assigns them round-robin to your on-shift agents according to the rules you set. Create a few test leads in Close to confirm new leads are being assigned fairly.
What to set up next
- Work hours & availability routing — only route to reps who are on shift, and take anyone who’s out off the roster in one click.
- Custom routing rules — send leads by territory, source, or deal size with nested AND/OR logic.
- Test rules before saving and debug routing with the Inspector — confirm leads land exactly where you expect.
- Escalation — if the assigned rep doesn’t follow up in time, re-route the lead automatically so it never goes cold.
Close launches with email alerts when a new lead is assigned; SMS, Slack, Telegram, and WhatsApp alerts are on the roadmap.
